A,B,C’s and 1,2,3’s :)

Hello!

As a class we have learned 10 more letters! we have learned “D”, “E”, “F”, “L”, “Q”, “X”, “V”,  “O”, “N”, and “W”. We have created some very silly sentences to go along with them. I have printed out a handout with all of the letters they have learned thus far that is accompanied with their sentences. In the next couple of days we will be doing our first round of benchmark testing with our letters, I hope your kids practice their letters so they are super prepared! If you have any questions on how to help your kid with their letters feel free to ask. Stay tuned to see what animal we learn about next week and see who our special visitor is!

Thank you,                                                                                                                                               Miss. Ally

The Seasons aren’t the only thing changing

Hey everyone!

As we progress through the first couple months of school we have noticed many changes.  The seasons are starting to change and we’ve noticed that our student’s minds have been growing and changing as well! With that being said we are having Parent, Teacher conferences Friday, October 28th. They will begin at 5:00 and end at 8:00. Make sure your little one gives you the sign up sheet for your time slot!

Thank you,                                                                                                                                               Miss. Ally

Stripes, Stripes, and more Stripes….

Hello Everyone!

Just a little update on what our Adventures have been learning about. Our first animal of choice was Zebras, we started off by asking all of the kids what they already know about Zebras. Here are just a few things they already knew;

  • “Zebras drink water and eat grass.” – Jackson
  • “Zebras like to take naps.” – Isabella
  • “Zebras jump over puddles.” – Hazel
  • “Zebras run a lot!” – Elliot
  • “Zebras love to cuddle with other Zebras.” – Kennedy

They are very knowledgeable on this topic already, we will just have to build on what they know! In the next few days we will learn about what Zebras eat, where they live, and what their fur looks like. Make sure to ask your kids about their fun, striped, and cuddly friends!

Thank you,                                                                                                                                               Miss. Ally
